Assistant Management Accountant
Oceanova is rapidly expanding, and we are looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join our central Finance Team to support each different brand on its own journey.

The position is new and reflects the recent growth we are currently experiencing and further developments planned for the future. The Finance team has a Finance Director who is based in London but the remainder of the 6-person strong team, led by the Finance Manager, are based in Blackpool. The team is a mix of ages, qualifications and experience but with the shared goal of working together as a team which is an important element of our culture.
This is a typical financial role but there is variety with each brand having a unique approach and an expanding portfolio of services. There is a constantly changing landscape of education and indeed our changing products in response to this, and it is important that you can adapt quickly to any changes so that the Finance team can support the rest of the business.
Ideally you should be part qualified (AAT/ACCA/CIMA), have a proven track record in a similar finance role though the salary range has been set to reflect different levels of experience and possess strong IT skills. Excel skills in particular are an essential requirement but a working knowledge of Access Financials would also be beneficial.
Day-to-day, you will report to the Finance Manager and support the rest of the team.
